The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing sales in the assigned territory. This is a completely Field-based role (100% field work) The role involves identifying new business opportunities, regular market visit, Client meetings, dealer/distributor management and on-site sales execution within the assign territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and acquire new clients and business opportunities in the assigned area.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as production and dispatch to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
• Monitor and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management
• Ability to identify new market opportunities
• Good knowledge of B2B sales and territory management
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial products.
• Experience in B2B sales and client acquisition preferred
