• 3–6 years running D2C / e-commerce growth, ideally with a brand you helped scale from an early stage. Consumer / FMCG / food & beverage experience is a strong plus.
• Genuinely hands-on operator. You’ve personally managed meaningful ad budgets on Meta and Google and can point to results, not just decks.
• Deep comfort with the D2C stack: Shopify (or similar), GA4, Meta/Google Ads Manager, and a retention/CRM tool (Klaviyo, WebEngage, Wigzo, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical instinct – fluent in CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, contribution margin, cohorts. Comfortable in spreadsheets and dashboards.
• A builder’s mentality. You’re energized by an empty channel and full ownership, not waiting for a playbook to be handed to you.
• Sharp creative judgment – you can brief designers and social managers, critique work, and know what converts even though you’re not the one in Canva.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai for an on-site role.
